About

Growing up in Haddenham, Aylesbury I was introduced to learning music from an early age. At age 8, I started to play the flute where I continued to play and achieve grade 7, with playing the flute, I joined several orchestra’s and flute choirs where I learned more about other orchestral instruments. The piano was another instrument I had lessons for and completed grades, alongside learning the piano, I also studied music theory and achieved a distinction for the grade 5 paper.

dBs Music Institute is where I completed my university degree with a 2.1 and has taught me skills that’ll I use for the rest of my composing career, a few examples are exploring DAW’s, (Logic Pro X, Pro tools, Ableton), learning how to use studios, (including recording, mixing, mastering), the studios included learning desks such as the SSL Duality, API 1608, and the Audient 4816. dBs has also allowed me to compose, orchestrate, and conduct a string quartet which has been a dream of mine for a long time!

Taking music at A-levels developed more music theory knowledge, performance and compositional skills that have stuck with me through my music composition career.

Aside from my love for music, I have had a love for film and TV from a young age which made me realise I wanted to create music for visuals. Whilst mainly composing music for student films, I aspire to keep making music for films, commercials and TV, and expanding my connections within the industry.
